Website analytics
Maison Fleur Nagoya separates basic counts from detailed analytics requiring your permission. Analytics is not a condition of browsing or booking.
Basic counts before permission
When our hosting platform confirms a visit is from Japan, we store daily totals in Japan time for page views, booking-button clicks and moves to the booking service, grouped by page and button location. Separately, we count website entries by day and a fixed source category such as Instagram, TikTok, Threads, X, search or direct/unknown. We use utm_source when provided, otherwise the referring site, without saving full URLs or arbitrary campaign names. We create no individual records or identifiers and use no cookies or device storage for these counts. They cannot identify visitor numbers, return visits or a person’s journey.
Outside Japan, or when the region is unknown, basic counts also wait for permission. Region information is used only to decide whether counting is permitted and is not saved in our analytics database. After permission, basic counts still use the same minimal fields.
Detailed analytics after permission
We record the page, screen-size and traffic-source categories, approximate active time, scrolling, information and booking buttons viewed or clicked, requested travel month, nights and guests, lead time, calendar loading results, error categories and loading performance. A random identifier groups activity within a tab. A page view after more than 30 minutes without activity starts a new identifier. We do not identify the same person across devices.
What we do not record
Our analytics database does not store names, email addresses, phone numbers, card data, free text, full referring URLs or IP addresses. We use no advertising tracking or screen recordings and send no data to Google Analytics.
Storage and access
Reports are operator-only. Basic counts cover the latest 90 calendar days and detailed analytics covers the latest 90 days. Older records are progressively deleted when new data arrives. Pre-launch and operator checks are classified as tests. Refusal settings and lost requests mean these counts do not cover every visit.
Declining or changing your choice
Use the notice at the top or “Change analytics preferences” at the bottom of a page. Declining stops new basic and detailed analytics transmissions from this website. Previous refusals are retained. We also respect DNT and GPC browser preferences. Your choice is saved in browser storage; if storage is unavailable it lasts only while this page remains open. Counts already combined without identifiers cannot be retrieved or deleted for an individual.
Booking and hosting records
This explanation covers our website analytics. See below for information necessary for bookings and payments. OpenAI Sites separately records traffic statistics and technical connection information; these preferences do not control those platform records.
Information you send by email
The contact buttons open your email app or a Gmail draft. Emails you choose to send arrive in the Maison Fleur team's Gmail inbox. This website has no form that receives or stores your enquiry text.
We use your sender email address, name and any details you include, such as travel dates and guest numbers, to respond to and follow up on your enquiry. Dates and guest details are optional.
Enquiry emails are handled separately from website analytics. The 90-day period above describes analytics records, not how long enquiry emails are kept.
For questions about access to, correction or deletion of your enquiry information, please email the contact address below.
Booking and stay privacy
Information and purposes
We use your name, email, phone number, stay dates, guest numbers and children's ages, total price, accepted terms, booking and payment identifiers, correspondence and email delivery results to process reservations, verify identity, settle charges, prevent fraud or duplicate charges, provide stay instructions and answer enquiries. The booking page has no advertising tracking or optional analytics. Authentication cookies and necessary operational records are used.
Service providers
Our booking server runs on Railway, where contact details are stored encrypted. Beds24 manages dates, guest numbers, availability, prices and payment entries. Stripe processes card registration and payments; full card numbers and security codes are entered directly with Stripe and are not stored in our booking database. Resend delivers verification, booking and stay emails and records delivery results. Enquiries arrive in our dedicated Gmail inbox.
Guest register and entry instructions
All guests register through a dedicated Yadminn form. The register collects legally required information such as name, address and contact details. Foreign nationals without an address in Japan are asked for nationality, passport number and a passport copy. We do not collect passport copies on our booking server or through ordinary email. Registration links, passwords and entry instructions are shown after identity verification and are not included on public pages or in ordinary notification emails.
Retention and protection
Booking, payment and correspondence records are retained as needed to provide the stay, settle charges and handle enquiries or disputes. Guest registers are retained for three years; accounting and other legally required records are retained for the applicable statutory period. The operator reviews and deletes personal information that is no longer needed. Access to the booking database is restricted and backups are encrypted. Service providers may separately retain technical records needed for maintenance and security.
Privacy requests
